Gideon Amanyire MB.ChB, MPH.

Dr Gideon Amanyire completed his medical degree (MB.ChB) from Makerere University in 1989. Dr Amanyire also has training in Community Health (DCH) from the University of Innsbruck, Institute of Public Health, Austria (1994) and a Masters Degree in Public Health from Makerere (2002). He completed a Fellowship in HIV/AIDS Research & Management (MU IPH-CDC HIV/AIDS Fellowship Program) in 2004. He is a Public Health Specialist with more than a decade’s experience of heading Decentralized District Health services in rural Uganda as District health Officer (DHO). Dr. Amanyire has worked as program Manager with indigenous Non Government organizations – providing comprehensive HIV/AIDS activities in Uganda. Over the past ten years, Dr. Amanyire has spearheaded efforts to strengthen health systems through providing technical assistance and building the capacity of districts and health facilities to provide comprehensive HIV services. Dr Amanyire has also been engaged in Social, and Behavioral HIV Research and implementation Science studies and has published in eight peer reviewed journals.

Juliana Musiimenta

Juliana is a public health officer with more than 10years working experiences in HIV/AIDS care both clinical and HIV project implementation work. She started as a clinical officer for a PMTCT research German Technical Corporation (GTZ) project in Fort Portal Regional referral Hospital where she worked as a clinician for HIV positive pregnant mothers, their exposed babies and their spouses. She later worked as an Adherence officer with Joint Clinical research Centre (JCRC) in the same hospital responsible for patient Education, follow up and psychosocial support. She later joined Makerere University Joint AIDs program as a District PMTCT supervisor responsible for strengthening the district local government health system in providing Prevention Of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV services in the district which involves identifying needs, planning for resources, building capacity of the systems and staff, mentorship and coaching and monitoring and evaluation of this project which she has done for 5 years. Juliana holds bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community health, a post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management. She is passionate about adolescents and children’s health and social wellbeing.

Jonan Nandolo

Jonan takes a vison and makes it reality through his passion for community development and Management. He holds a Bachelor’s in Social Sciences and a major in Public Administration from Nkumba University Uganda. Jonan has more than 15 years of experience of doing development work. He has developed a robust understanding of community issues and needs while working with both International and National non-government organizations, where he has facilitated community assessments, Research and many other related fields.

Jonan is an inspiration leader who tells stories to inspire action while at the same time is grounded in sustainable approaches that levers the development.  His credible voice in decision making, finding strategic development partners, and establishing new strategies, earned him a seat at the board table wherever he serves. He also loves entrepreneurship, meeting people from different walks of life, and traveling.

Eng. David Muhumuza

Eng David is a Ugandan holding a Bachelor's degree of science in Computer Engineering from Makerere University. He is also certified Cisco Networking Associate. David has a two years working experience in an ICT related related environment and a six-year exposure to ICT work, equipment and computer networks. Personally, he has a passion for learning new programming languages and solving basic desktop and laptop computer related problems.

Currently, he works as a data assistant in an ART clinic within a referral hospital. His hobbies are; playing soccer daily and watching weekend soccer games; movie watching and lastly, eating out with friends.
